Honoring Veterans
Live 80/20 believes in helping those that are in need. This includes those that sacrifice
their lives for others and our country. The greatest love is willing to give your life for
someone else. God set this example at the highest level by giving his Son so we could
have eternal life and the freedom to follow Him. Giving your life for a stranger is a love
that is hard to explain. But the heart of a solider is just that. The willingness to fight and
sacrifice their life for a stranger is why Live 80/20 believes that the soldier should be
honor in life and death. Live 80/20 wants to solve the main 4 issues that veterans face
today.
solid work once they return home since a lot of veterans go into the armed forces at a young age
and don’t have the necessary skill trade training and education to succeed in todays society.
2. Homelessness. Approximately one third of all homeless Americans are veterans.
3. Adapting to Society. Coexisting with cultures, values, and norms different from those of the
military. Re-establishing and even re-evaluating relationships with family and friends. Dealing
with authority. Understanding and abiding by civilian legal standards that may be different from
military standards.
4. Mental and physical Issues. Needed healthcare that doesn’t seem to be in place. And the
issues with not enough funding so the time it takes to get the needed care is detrimental. And
unfortunately, suicide and depression rates remain high among members of the armed forces.
