Department of Missions

Director of Missionary Outreach – works directly with Assemblies of God staff to keep track of current missionaries. Responsible for meeting with all supported missionaries and tracking progress and use of funds.

Director of Pastoral Care – meets with supported pastors to ensure that needs are met. Available to aide in areas such as (but not limited to): family group counseling, personal individual counseling, marriage counseling, research resources, rest and retreat resources, etc.

Executive Council – a group of professionals who meet with churches that need to change/expand their programs (architect, builder, director of pastoral care, director of children’s ministries, director of worship ministries, director of hospitality, etc.)

Financial Manager – works with Director of Missionary Outreach and Director of Pastoral Care to ensure sufficient funds are available to all missionaries, and funds are allocated properly.

-Christian Schools Director of Infrastructure and Giving – Spiritual Gift(s): Leadership, Administration, Discernment, Knowledge, Wisdom. Live 80/20 provides financial support for Christian Schools to provide state-of-the-art programs that impact students, teachers, and communities. Our Christian Schools Director of Infrastructure and Giving will meet with schools that desire to partner with Live 80/20 to explain, assess, and implement Live 80/20 programs. This position oversees school expansions, remodels, program advancements, school budgets, and works closely with the Live 80/20 Scholarship Programs Director.

-Scholarship Programs Director – Spiritual Gift(s): Giving, Mercy, Administration, Knowledge, Wisdom. Live 80/20 believes that no child should be denied Christian education due to financial reasons. Our Scholarship Program Director will oversee the Scholarship Programs department. Families who want to send their kids to a Christian School will provide general financial in-take and this information will be used in an algorithm to determine the financial support available to them through Live 80/20. All financial support given by Live 80/20 is given freely and never expected to be paid back in return. Our Scholarship Programs Director will monitor scholarship children’s success and meet regularly with families to ensure accountability.

Department of Educational Pursuits Staff Positions

Personal Financial Advisor – meets with families who want to send their kids to private school – general financial in-take and algorithm for financial support available through Live 80/20

Counselor – meets with families who want to send their kids to private school – temperament testing at initial intake and continues to monitor child’s success. Meets with families who are receiving financial aid through Live 80/20. Keeps progress accountable.

Chief Architect – meets with schools that need to expand

Executive Council – group of educators who meet with schools that need to change/expand their programs (athletic director, fine arts director, leaders in each field: science, math, social studies, languages, etc.)

Financial Manager – meets with school boards to negotiate Live 80/20 work jobs and needed financial funding. Financial Manager meets directly with the Personal Financial Advisor to be aware of scholarship funding also provided to each school. The Financial Manager reports directly to Live 80/20 Executive staff.

-Insurance Supplement Director – Spiritual Gift(s): Giving, Mercy, Administration, Discernment, Healings, Helps, Miracles, Wisdom. Live 80/20 provides financial support for families and individuals who are struggling to pay medical bills. Our Insurance Supplement Director will oversee the Department relating to medical bill financial support; including, but not limited to Insurance Supplement Financial Advisors and Counselors. This Department also works directly with the executive team and resources at Medi-Share as it relates to active and potential members. Attention to detail, accountability, and management are just a few of the job skills necessary for this position.

Personal Financial Advisor – meets with families or individuals who are requesting financial support.  The Personal Financial Advisor also works directly with the executive team at Medi-Share; providing financial resources when needed.

Our Fostering & Adoption Training Director has a passion for learning, teaching and igniting passion. It is their responsibility to ensure that all Regional Fostering & Adoption Trainers understand the Live 80/20 Fostering & Adoption Outreach program and are implementing the programs successfully within their regions. Our Fostering & Adoption Training Director is a great student; always learning new things and proactively seeking resolutions to potential program issues before they arise.

-Fostering Coordinating Director – Spiritual Gift(s): Exhortation, Leadership, Mercy, Service, Administration, Discernment, Helps, Knowledge, Wisdom, Hospitality. Our Fostering & Adoption Coordinating Director is responsible for facilitating communications throughout the Live 80/20 Fostering & Adoption Outreach Department. They have no problem wearing multiple hats and doing things “outside” of their job description. Whether it’s researching new laws associate with foster care or helping a family that is running into escalated issues relating to an adoption, our Fostering & Adoption Coordinating Director is able and willing to help. They will provide on-going accountability and management throughout the entire Live 80/20 Fostering & Adoption Department.

-Fostering Outreach Director – Spiritual Gift(s): Exhortation, Leadership, Mercy, Service, Teaching, Administration, Apostle, Faith, Helps, Evangelism, Hospitality. The Live 80/20 Fostering & Adoption Outreach Director will be responsible for overseeing all Live 80/20 Regional Fostering & Adoption Outreach Leaders. They are able to cast and create vision, research and implement new strategies for programs, and manage outreach efforts. They will also provide advisement regarding hiring church-appointed staff members, within participating churches, that will be funded by Live 80/20.

Department of Fostering & Adoption Staff Positions

Fostering & Adoption Team Leader – responsible for coordinating program coordinators with participating churches. Team Leader is responsible for making difficult decisions when it comes to relinquishing support to non-participating families, and sometimes even non-participating churches. The Fostering & Adoption Team Leader reports directly to Live 80/20 executive staff.

Fostering Outreach Coordinator(s) – meets with churches and describes the outreach program. Facilitates church-wide learning experiences. Fostering Outreach Coordinator(s) work in team with Adoption Outreach Coordinator(s) and reports directly to the Department of Fostering & Adoption Team Leader.

Adoption Outreach Coordinator(s) – meets with churches and describes the outreach program. Facilitates church-wide learning experiences. Adoption Outreach Coordinator(s) work in team with Fostering Outreach Coordinator(s) and reports directly to the Department of Fostering & Adoption Team Leader.

Church-appointed Counselor & Financial Assistant (depending on the size of the church, this will be one position, or two) – The Fostering & Adoption Outreach Coordinators will meet with church staff to appoint one or two people in charge of running the outreach program. -Widows Training Director – Spiritual Gift(s): Exhortation, Leadership, Service, Teaching, Administration, Apostle, Helps, Knowledge. Our Widows Training Director will be responsible for overseeing all Regional Widows Trainers. -Widows Coordinating Director – Spiritual Gift(s): Exhortation, Leadership, Mercy, Service, Administration, Discernment, Helps, Knowledge, Wisdom, Hospitality. Our Widows Coordinating Director is responsible for facilitating communications throughout the Live 80/20 Widows Outreach Department. They are a go-getter. Does the Widows Outreach Director need someone to bounce a new outreach idea off of? Does the Widows Training Director need help training new Regional Widows Trainers? Our Widows Coordinating Director will do it. And communication is their best asset. They will provide on-going accountability and management throughout the entire Live 80/20 Widows Outreach Department.

-Director of Recruiting  – Spiritual Gift(s): Leadership, Administration, Knowledge, Wisdom. Live 80/20 desires to provide programs throughout the United States and across the world. The Live 80/20 Director of Recruiting will be responsible for reaching churches, within the US, that are eligible for Live 80/20 programs. They will assess, qualify, and coordinate the programs available to churches; assigning districts and managing overflow. Should a church not qualify but desire to implement one or more programs, that church will be appointed to the Director of Diversification (see immediately below).

-Director of Giving – Spiritual Gift(s): Giving, Leadership, Mercy, Service, Teaching, Administration, Discernment, Helps, Knowledge, Wisdom. From time to time, a church will be a perfect fit for a Live 80/20 project or program, and yet not meet all of the qualifications set by the directorship. In such instances, the Director of Diversification will step in and work side-by-side with the church to allocate Live 80/20 programs and funds. There will, inevitably, be churches that do not qualify and are not approved by the Director of Diversification. It is the Director’s job to use discernment and seek knowledge to differentiate between churches that are a good fit and those that are not. Our Director of Diversification must speak with words of wisdom and know how to handle confrontation as well as they handle agreement.

Our Mentor Training Director has a passion for learning, teaching and igniting passion. It is their responsibility to ensure that all Regional Mentor Trainers understand the Live 80/20 Mentorship program and are implementing the programs successfully within their regions. Our Mentor Training Director understands the importance of impacting children and youth; providing a Biblical example of parental love and guidance.

-Mentor Coordinating Director – Spiritual Gift(s): Exhortation, Leadership, Mercy, Service, Administration, Discernment, Helps, Knowledge, Wisdom, Hospitality. Our Mentor Coordinating Director is responsible for facilitating communications throughout the Live 80/20 Mentorship Outreach Department. This position is flexible, requiring our Mentor Coordinating Director to work seamlessly throughout the entire Live 80/20 Mentorship Outreach Department. They will provide on-going accountability and management for the Department.

-Mentor Outreach Director – Spiritual Gift(s): Exhortation, Leadership, Mercy, Service, Teaching, Administration, Apostle, Faith, Helps, Evangelism, Hospitality. The Live 80/20 Mentor Outreach Director will be responsible for overseeing all Live 80/20 Regional Mentor Outreach Leaders. Our Mentor Outreach Director is able to cast and create vision, research and implement new strategies for programs, and manage mentor outreach efforts. They will also provide advisement regarding hiring church-appointed staff members, within participating churches, that will be funded by Live 80/20.

-Events Director – Spiritual Gift(s): Leadership, Service, Administration, Helps, Hospitality. Live 80/20 is a living and breathing piece of the Body of Christ, and each of its members play an integral part. Our Events Director will be in charge of overseeing events, organizing teams, and fulfilling event vision. They will be responsible for executing ministry event, including, but not limited to: coordinating event speakers, organizing schedule of events, special accommodations, and meeting spaces. Each event is unique and specific, and as such, it is important for our Events Director to understand vision and execute exceptionally. Our Events Director will also be responsible for keeping retreat calendars organized. Live 80/20 thrives on excellence in everything; our Events Director shares that passion and understands how impactful events are to attendees, team members, Live 80/20, and the communities that host our events.

-Events Communications and Coordinator Director – Spiritual Gift(s): Leadership, Prophecy, Service, Teaching, Administration, Helps, Knowledge, Wisdom, Hospitality, Exhortation. No event is pulled off without some sort of bump along the way. It’s seeing these bumps before they happen, addressing the issues right away, and what we do when they happen that determines the success of each and every event. Our Events Communications and Coordinator Director excels at problem-solving. They are proactive, not reactive. They are not easily phased when troubles arise, and find favor with those they speak to. They use words of wisdom to communicate and facilitate seamless event planning. They reap the reward of well-executed plans.

-Travel Communications Director – Spiritual Gift(s): Giving, Mercy, Service, Administration, Helps, Hospitality. Travel planning and logistics is often a daunting task for people. But if your dream has always been to be a travel agent and that first sentence made you scoff, our Travel Communications Director position may be just the ticket. Live 80/20 provides rest and relief for missionaries and pastors, along with families and individuals participating in Live 80/20 programs (including, but not limited to: Widows Outreach, Foster Care and Adoption, Mentorship, Veteran Stars, Educational Pursuits, and Healthcare). Travel arrangements will be made with Live 80/20 resorts and private residences; and will include all necessary amenities to give travelers an all-inclusive experience. Our Travel Communications Director will also be responsible for ensure that each travel experience is met with Live 80/20 abundant grandeur. Any mishaps or accidents that occur along the way will be handled with Live 80/20 excellence. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: hotel/resort reservations, excursion itineraries, flight reservations and other travel communications.

Event Planning Coordinator – responsible for executing ministry events, including, but not limited to: coordinating event speakers, schedule of events, special accommodations, and meeting spaces. Will be responsible for keeping retreat calendars organized, and scheduling visits, updating accommodations, and cleanings. Must always have access to which retreats are open/available. Budgets are provided by Secretary of Travel & Event Planning.

Travel Agent – responsible for executing travel plans for qualifying Live 80/20 sponsors, Live 80/20 staff, and others. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: hotel/resort reservations, excursion itineraries, flight reservations and other travel communications. Budgets are provided by Secretary of Travel & Event Planning.

What did you do? Did you accept the gift with gratitude and enjoy your free food/drink? Did you return the gift and pay for the person behind you? Did you hand the cashier $50 and tell them to keep paying for orders until it runs out? Our Director of Stewardship thinks outside the box when it comes to giving. No idea is too big. With man, of course this is impossible, but with God, nothing is impossible. Our Director of Stewardship is wise and understands that giving isn’t always just about money, and that it is just as important to understand how the gift will be used. If a position needs to be filled, it is much more than just finding someone to fill a hole. Oftentimes, businesses will make quick or justified reasonings when hiring new staff members. It takes a discerning spirit to ensure that new staff members are the right fit before bringing them on to fill a position. It also takes a patient mind to wait if the right fit is not apparent in the time of need. Our Director of Recruiting must understand all of these facets in hiring and bringing on new staff members. A single person can ruin an entire Department, so it is necessary for our Director of Recruiting to be discerning, patient, and wise; being able to problem solve and provide ideas and resolutions for Departments that are in need of staff members but have not found the right fit

-Director of Culture Development – Spiritual Gift(s): Exhortation, Giving, Leadership, Mercy, Service, Teaching, Administration, Discernment, Helps, Knowledge, Hospitality. Culture Development is a key concept at Live 80/20. We believe that all staff members are integral pieces to our body as a whole. And as a body, we all need to share the same vision and goal. It is the Director of Culture Development’s job to ensure that all Departments, while each one is in itself independent and specific, as a whole they are cohesive and symbiotic. If someone comes to visit the Department of Fostering & Adoption, they should experience the same environment in the Department of Widows Outreach.
